For the expo ‘Bloed’ (BLOOD); artists from ARTISIT are teamed up with Belgian artists and invited to engage in dialogue about the central theme. The resulting installations are presented within the walls of the landcommandery of Alden-Biesen.

ARTISIT is a centre for creation of contemporary art and specifically geared towards the ‘psychotic existence’ as a source of inspiration. ARTISIT aims to challenge the stereotypical image that exists with regard to art produced by psychotics. ARTISIT offers atelier facilities, socio-artistic counselling and organises exhibitions in order to improve integration of art and artists into the regular art circuit, at a local, national as well as at and international level.
